The Turkana lake area (Kenya)

As a component of the Water, Peace, and Security partnership, extensive research has been conducted in the northern region of Kenya, with a specific focus on Turkana County. This area has been grappling with the escalating challenges of prolonged droughts and limited resources for sustenance. Within the ambit of this project, a diverse range of interdisciplinary approaches have been devised to advance the overarching goal of the partnership, namely the identification of conflicts arising from water-related issues.

These research endeavors have shed light on insights and trends pertaining to the intricate dynamics of water availability and its impact on the local population.
